Translate a Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams call
Fraze shows live captions and translation for everyone in a call. No bot joins the meeting: Fraze listens to the sound your computer plays. You need two things: the right pair of languages, and System audio turned on.
Which computer are you using?
1. Pick the two languages
Click the language pill in the top left corner.

Under Spoken language, pick the language people speak. Under Translate to, pick the language you want to read, or No translation for captions only. You can type to search.

2. Turn on System audio
Click the word on the left of the dark pill (System, Mic, or Mix) to open the Audio source menu.

Turn on System audio to hear the other people in the call. Turn on Microphone too if you want your own words captioned.

3. Start Fraze
Join the call in the Zoom, Teams, or Meet app, or in your browser.
Click the round record button.

The first time, Fraze shows Before Fraze listens to this computer. Click Continue.

The first time, macOS asks whether Fraze can record system audio. Allow it. Fraze hears all sound playing on your Mac, so there is no window to pick.
Fraze hears all sound playing on this PC, so there is no window to pick. Make sure the sound plays through speakers or headphones that are turned on in Windows.
Play the audio. The words appear a moment after each pause, with the translation under them.

Tips
You can start Fraze before the call or in the middle of it.
To keep the captions on top of the call window, open the captions window. The guide below shows how.
To stop, click the round button in the pill again. Your transcript stays on screen.
