What happens on first use.
Fraze downloads what it needs the first time you pick a language: about 670 MB for speech in the European languages, a separate speech download for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Vietnamese or Thai, and 30 to 45 MB for each translation pair. On macOS 26, some languages come from macOS itself instead. Each download happens once and stays on your computer, so after that Fraze works with no internet.
